Conference Sponsorship

The Hong Kong Society of Gastroenterology (HKSGE) continues to promote the advancement of gastroenterology through encouraging further education including sponsorship to attend scientific meetings.

Notes for applicants:

1. Applicants must be a paid-up member/fellow of the HKSGE for at least one year.
2. Preference will be given to those with an active role in the conference (presenters/chairman).
3. Sponsorship will cover:
   1. registration fee
   2. round trip economy airfare
   3. accommodation
   4. a restricted amount for transport (e.g. between airport and hotel; hotel and conference centre)
4. Applicants have to make their own arrangement. Reimbursement should be made within 1 month after the meeting with certificate of attendance and all relevant receipts. The reimbursement will be made as a one-off payment with the amount being the sum of all the individual expenditures.
5. Sponsorship to attend overseas conferences will be limited to 2 trips for fellow and 1 trip for member in a membership year.
6. Applications will be reviewed by the Council of the Society, and the decision of the Council will be considered final
