For the purpose of achieving the objective of promoting continuing medical education of practitioners in gastroenterology and related fields, this Society has produced an educational program on a CD ROM, named "Challenges in Gastroenterology and Hapatology". This is a combined effort of Members of The Council with contributions from our fellows and members.
The program covers 4 main areas namely Upper GI Disorders, Lower GI Disorders, Hepatobiliary Disorders and Liver Diseases. Each section comprises 25 questions with illustrations and references. The program is designed for the use of both trainees in Gastroenterology and GI Surgery as well as practising Gastroenterologists and Hepatologists, GI Surgeons, Pathologists and Radiologists who want to keep themselves abreast with the latest development in the field.
CME accreditation is obtained from the following colleges: The Hong Kong College of Emergency Medicine, The Hong Kong College of Family Physicians, Hong Kong College of Radiologists and The College of Surgeons of Hong Kong. The CD is available to non-members of this Society at a charge of $100 per copy. A demo has been placed on the Society web www.hksge.org for your viewing, if interested.
